After a couple weeks on our mountain bike vacation, we're home. We had to cut it a day short because my right leg started hurting again...seems to be a muscle strain again. I'll get to the details of that in a few days. I'll leave it at this...one ride in Stanley Idaho was over the top and we ended up hiking with our bikes up steeeeeep mountain sides for probably a total of 2.5 hours. I can ride a mountain bike for 5-7 hours for weeks on end but I can't hike. My legs are not made for hiking and I strained a muscle. So we skipped McCall Idaho and are back. Pictures will start following soon.

Sorry to hear about your leg troubles... what Stanley ride did you do?
Pat in AZ
In Stanley we rode Fisher Creek and then next day Little and Big Casino Lakes. That was the ride that did my leg in pretty much. It was supposed to be 5-8 hours of ride time so I knew it would be tough, but I didn't expect to have to hike so much.
So you went up LC and down BC? We rode up from the Boundary Creek Trail and went down LC... that LC DH was a HOOT!
