Round 3

Last night was race #3 in the short track series. It was hot and dusty and I was praying for rain. Nope. I raced Derek's hardtail and was even passing some of the guys when BAM flat tire. I walked it down from the top of the course and luckily someone had a spare bike. It was a pink singlespeed but hey, I gave it a go. That was my first ride on a singlespeed and I'm happy I got to finish the race. I collected my 1st place prize and called it a day. I'll sure be happy to get my regular bike back though.

I couldn't sleep last night and when I got up early and looked out the window Derek asked me, "Did it snow?"

hahahha - um, no. But what I wouldn't give to have this melt down onto all our trails.
